What does it cost?

Scouts is designed to be an accessible and affordable way for young people to learn lots of new skills.

Our group charges a termly fee (called subscriptions or subs) to cover the costs of running regular meetings – which covers venue hire, insurances and materials for activities. You'll also need to purchase a uniform and scarf when you first join and there are sometimes extra charges for special activities, camps and events.

You'll be told what the current termly payment is when you enquire about joining, or if you're already a member you'll be able to find this out from a leader or by looking on the Parent Portal.

We try to keep our subs as low as possible so that anyone can come to Scouts. If you have any concerns about the cost of subs, activities and events or uniform then please speak to a leader.
