HQ Regeneration Project

Help us rebuild our Scout HQ and ensure that we can continue to offer the fun and adventure of Scouting to young people.

We are 7th Feltham Sea Scout Group, but if we don't act now we won't be for much longer!

7th Feltham Sea Scout Group has been based at our current site since 1952. Our buildings are old, worn-out and rapidly becoming unfit for purpose, and we are at real risk of losing this important community facility.

About 7th Feltham

7th Feltham Sea Scout Group has been working with young people from Feltham and the surrounding areas for the past 80 years and currently has nearly 100 youth and adult members. We exist to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. With an emphasis on being on the water, we offer fun and challenging activities, unique experiences and everyday adventure that helps children and young adults reach their full potential.

Our project

We are embarking on an exciting expedition to redesign and rebuild our hut, creating a modern facility that continues to provide a home for Scouting as well as taking on a new role as a centre for community activity.

7th Feltham’s regeneration project will:

  • Ensure the future of Scouting at 7th Feltham.

  • Allow us to offer the fun and adventure of Scouting to more young people.

  • Provide a resource for the benefit of the local community.

  • Create a modern, accessible and sustainable facility with low environmental impact.

Your support

We are about to start the design and planning phase of the project and need to raise the funds to have architect’s plans drawn up and obtain planning permission.

Your support will enable us to embark on this project and begin our journey towards rebuilding our hut and ensuring the future of 7th Feltham Sea Scout Group.
