Help us fundraise
Each year the Group has to raise nearly £6,000, in addition to the subcriptions paid by each young person, for the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings, equipment and van.
Without this money the Group wouldn’t be able to continue. There are a number of things that we ask our parents and supporters to do to support our fundraising efforts, and you can find out more about these below.
We're always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Fundraising Crew and help us with our fundraising events and activities. You don't need any prior experience and whatever time you can give, there'll be a way to get involved.
Easy ways to help us fundraise
Raise whilst you shop
easyfundraising.org.uk is a great way to raise money just by shopping online. You don't pay anything extra and we receive a donation for every purchase that you make.
Recycle your inkjets
Your used inkjets can be turned into donations and recycled at the same time. Just leave your used inkjets in the collection box in the hallway of the hut or hand them to a leader.
Mobile recycling
Your old mobile phones can raise donations! When you upgrade your phone please consider donating your old one for recycling. Speak to your leader for more details.

Fundraising Crew
Our Fundraising Crew arrange events and activities throughout the year - from providing refreshments or running stalls at community events to organising our Christmas fair, bingo and race nights. If you can help at these events then please get in touch.
Awards & grants
Our Awards & Grants Team are focussed on applying for different schemes that might support us in our projects, in particular the regeneration of our headquarters. If you think you have the skills to help us apply for these grants then please get in touch.
Matched funding
Many employers will support there employees with their fundraising - either through matching donations made or providing benefits in kind (such as materials or equipment). Let us know if you think your employer could support our fundraising.
